Stan Hadfield aged 78 years from Burton-on-Trent captured this
19lb Pollack whilst fishing a mid-channel using 15lb class gear.
All the fish were taken from a newly found wreck in the shipping lanes in 220feet of water.
The wreck itself is very small and is about the size of a small trawler.
The lure used was a Yellow Eddystone Eel No2.

Stuart Davidson aged 65 years from Burton-on-Trent also captured this
19lb 8oz Pollack on the same wreck trip. Must be the beer these guys drink!
Stuart was using a Abu 7000 reel and a matched Abu 12-20lb Class Rod.
The Lures used was a red Eddystone Eastender No3.


13 year old Daniel Hammond captured this 13 lb Pollack on a wreck
lying 50 miles offshore whilst fishing with Skipper Colin Dukes.
Tackle used was a 15 lb class outfit with 15 lb mono line,
wire boom and the famous Eddystone Eddy Jelly Eel.


Geoffrey Healey an Engineer from Ross on Wye captured this
17 lb Pollack on a wreck lying mid channel. He used a 15 lb class outfit,
wire boom and a Red Eddystone Eel Lure.


13 year old's Dominic Welsh & Daniel Hammond captured these two fine
13 lb Pollack whilst fishing a wreck mid channel with skipper Colin Dukes.
In each case tackle use was a 15 lb class outfit, 15 lb mono line,
wire boom and Eddystone Eddy Jelly Worms.

Eddystone Eel Lures do it again capturing another RECORD by breaking the 24 year POLLACK RECORD of 21lb of the Island of Guernsey, which for those who do not know is situated in the English Channel in the Channel Islands Group of Islands.

Angler Paul Berry caught a magnificent POLLACK of 25lb 12oz which was taken of the North Coast of Guernsey using an Eddystone Eel, Shakespeare Ugly Stick 20lb, ABU 7000 Reel, braided line with a 20lb monofilament leader.
